Two people are injured after a huge fire breaks out, gutting a Ramada Inn in New Jersey

A woman and a police officer were injured when a massive fire broke out in a hotel in Vineland, New Jersey last night.

The Ramada Inn in Vineland, near Atlantic City, went up in flames around 2am but most of the guests escaped without being hurt.

A police officer who had been checking on guests was hospitalized and a woman suffered smoke inhalation and burn injuries but neither are in a life-threatening condition.
