Kim Chance, former WA ALP minister and camel dairy farmer, dies aged 70

Mr Chance was in office from 1992 through to 2009 as a member of the Legislative Council representing the Agricultural Region.

He held the ministerial posts of fisheries, forestry, the Mid West, agriculture and food, and Wheatbelt and Great Southern in the Gallop and Carpenter governments.

WA Labor leader Mark McGowan has paid tribute to his former colleague, describing Mr Chance as a “good guy”.
