The former Australian Idol star, 41, was finishing up his set at Sandstone Point in Queensland on Saturday with a performance of his famous cover What About Me.
But once out of the crowd’s view, the officers both flashed broad smiles and each gave Noll a high-five.
‘There’s not much I can say about that one. Luckily this one was just a joke though,’ the singer could be heard saying in a video uploaded to his Facebook page.
