THE cast of Game of Thrones has stepped out for the premiere of the second-last season of the biggest television show in the world ahead of the season seven launch on Monday [+Sunday].
The show’s main man Kit Harington was all smiles on the arm of his Scottish actor girlfriend Rose Leslie, who was dressed in a stunning Erdem dress as they walked the red carpet on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
Fellow castmates Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie, Maisie Williams, Iain Glen and New Zealand’s Keisha Castle-Hughes, who plays Obara Sand, were also in attendance.
The penultimate season of the HBO hit promises to pack plenty of punch into its seven episodes when it debuts exclusively on Foxtel in Australia next week.
Harington gave a glimpse into what fans can expect in the upcoming season.
“It’s incredibly fast,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s a different TV show, really. I read it and couldn’t really believe what I was reading, since we’ve set the bar for slow-paced TV over the years, with characters not meeting when you think they’re going to meet.
“It was almost frustratingly slow.
“Now, everything’s changed. Everything ramps up.”
