A 23-year-old has been stabbed to death in London – the seventh fatal knife attack in the capital in just ten days.
The brutal attack follows similar incidents that have taken place across the city including two deadly assaults on Friday last week, in Peckham Rye and Marylebone.
A day earlier, a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the head in Dulwich Park and remains in hospital in ‘critical’ condition.
This frightening onslaught of knife attacks in the city comes just a day after it was reported that cases of homicide and knife crime recorded by police in England and Wales are rising.
Some 4.8 million offences of all types were recorded in 2016, up 9% on 2015.
