Woman seriously injured after hit-and-run in Perth CBD

A WOMAN is fighting for her life after she was struck by a car in Perth’s CBD early this morning.

The vehicle did not stop after it hit the 42-year-old woman on the corner of Hay and William Streets at 1am.

The Queensland woman suffered serious injuries. She was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, where she is in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man, was not injured in the crash and is assisting with the investigation.
