Man dies in horror #Perth Mitchell freeway crash

A man has died after his ute crashed into a barrier then onto train tracks on the Mitchell Freeway which has been closed southbound.

The accident happened at 2.56pm Saturday.Police closed Mitchell Freeway between Karrinyup Road and Cedric Street causing major delays for motorists while trains on the Joondalup line between Stirling and Warwick stations have been stopped.

It is not known what exactly caused the crash. Police are investigating the incident.
