Passengers suffer cuts and bruises after trams collide on Bourke Street Melbourne

Two trams have collided on Bourke Street, leaving several passengers with minor injuries.The collision happened near the intersection with Spencer Street, opposite Southern Cross station on Wednesday afternoon.

An 86 tram, rear-ended a 96 tram.

A number of passengers have suffered cuts and bruises.

Ambulance Victoria say they assessed about 15 people with six, including a pre-school aged child, being treated for minor injuries.
