PIPPA Middleton looked exhausted as she arrived at LA airport with new hubby James Matthews ahead of their paradise honeymoon.
The newlyweds appeared heavy-eyed as they travelled to the Pacific Islands little more than 24 hours after celebrating their wedding with a lavish bash that continued into the early hours.
The Daily Mail reported they were caught on camera chatting with other travellers while on their way to the Pacific Islands – where they are heading for their honeymoon on a private retreat previously owned by Marlon Brando.
It is believed they arrived at the atoll of Tetiaroa yesterday, a formation of tiny islands in French Polynesia – having boarded an Air New Zealand flight in Los Angeles.
The atoll was bought by Marlon Brando in 1966, and after his in 2004 it was turned into luxury eco-resort The Brando, which sets its guest back anything from £3,000 a night. They reportedly boarded an Air New Zealand flight at the airport.
Offering 35 villas, guests can enjoy an outdoor bath and infinity pools – as well as seawater air-conditioning, solar power and generators powered by coconut oil.
The newlyweds will spend a week there, before heading back to the UK to a romantic beauty spot in the Scottish Highlands.
The area is where James’s family owns a 10,000-acre estate near to Loch Ness.
The couple left no expense spared for their lavish wedding and reception at the weekend – which included a spitfire display, and even saw their faces projected onto the back of the Middletons’ mansion during the reception.
