An Australian ferry was the stage for a raunchy orgy featured on HBO’s drama series ‘The Leftovers’.
The Queenscliff Ferry, south of Melbourne, housed a large crowd of naked actors for one of the hit show’s latest episodes titled ‘It’s a Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt world,’ according to The Geelong Advertiser.
About 160 crew members and 200 extras helped film the numerous sexual acts featured in the wild orgy.
The ferry was rented out for a week last year to shoot the episode, which premiered earlier this month and received rave reviews online.
Officials with Searoad Ferries told The Geelong Advertiser no complaints were received after the episode aired.
‘We leased the ferry to a reputable film company, and whether the content is salacious or not is sort of irrelevant,’ Marketing Manager Leanne Jones.
‘They were a fantastic production company to work with.’
‘The Leftovers’ stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Liv Tyler, and Christopher Eccleston.
The series is based on co-creator Tom Perrotta’s book of the same name.
