Another cold front heading for Perth later this week

THE good news for Perth is that temperatures are picking up after an unusually cold morning. The bad news is that there’s another cold front headed our way later in the week.

For a good portion of the morning the day threatened to be an historically cold one in the city. After reaching lows of 9.5 at 4.30am and 6.30am, the temperature had climbed to only 11.5 degrees by 10am and then dipped back to 10.6 at 11am.

UK: Six Injured In Suspected Acid Attack Near Mall In London East

Six people were reportedly injured in “a number of attacks” possibly involving acid near a shopping center in east London on Saturday night, according to Metropolitan Police.

A police spokesman told the Evening Standard that police were called to an area near Stratford shopping center before 8 p.m. local time, responding to reports of “a group of males spraying what is believed to be a noxious substance.”
