Fyfe appears to collect Greenwood in the head with his forearm well after the Collingwood midfielder punched the ball into space, knocking him to the ground.

PM Malcolm Turnbull set to announce 80 cent GST floor for WA. Too Little Too Late?

Sources say Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is planning to give WA 80 cent GST floor.PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull looks set to announce an 80-cent GST floor for WA, in a desperate move to hang on to shaky Liberal seats at the next Federal election.

Sources have told The Sunday Times that Mr Turnbull will soon take a “WA specific” GST solution to Cabinet, with an announcement likely to be made at the Liberal State conference in Perth on August 11.

It is understood the yearly GST top-up, which would inject an additional $5 billion into WA coffers over the next three years, would be paid out of consolidated revenue and not the annual GST multibillion-dollar pie, in a move designed to placate the must-win States of Tasmania, South Australia and Queensland.

Pippa Middleton honeymoon in Australia: Perth, WA may be next stop

CELEBRITY spotters were hoping for a glimpse of Pippa Middleton on Saturday amid speculation she may have jetted into WA on her southern hemisphere honeymoon.

Middleton and her new husband James Matthews flew into Darwin on Thursday afternoon from Sydney, but they gave royal watchers the slip when the newlyweds left in a small charter plane soon after.

The Northern Territory visit sparked rumours Middleton, the sister of Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, and Mr Matthews may have next been bound for the west.

Speculation centred on the couple continuing their luxury honeymoon with a stay at Perth’s Richardson Hotel, the five-star boutique hotel favoured by visiting celebrities and A-list arrivals.

The rumour mill was also rife that it could have been followed by stops at either El Questro, the stunning Kimberley retreat perched on a cliff top with views across the Chamberlain River and gorge…

He may be too young to drive a car by himself, but Tasmanian teenager Oliver O’Halloran now holds a flying record.

The 17-year-old has become the youngest person to fly solo and unassisted around Australia.

He returned to Hobart today after a 20-day trip flying 15,000 kilometres circumnavigating the country in a single-engine aircraft, in a record attempt dubbed Solo17.

Oliver only got his pilot’s licence on his recent birthday but this morning touched down with a flying record under his belt.

A group of family and friends greeted him with applause and cheers, with the Grade 11 student rushing to give his mum and little brother a hug.

“Wonder Woman” is set to be the biggest opening for a female director ever – could change Hollywood

“Wonder Woman” is set to become the biggest box office opening for a female director ever, and that could potentially lead Hollywood to give female directors more of the opportunities they’ve long deserved.

f the superhero film, which stars Gal Gadot and was directed by Patty Jenkins, matches expectations, it’ll undoubtedly be seen as a success by Hollywood standards, but it has the chance to mean more.

“The bittersweet truth is that Patty Jenkins is almost guaranteed to become the biggest-opening female director because the bar is so low,” Amy Nicholson, MTV News’ chief film critic, told CNN.

Nicholson pointed out that female directors like Kathryn Bigelow, Elizabeth Banks and Sam Taylor-Johnson, who holds the current record with 2015’s “Fifty Shades of Grey,” have all directed hit films, but that there’s a sense in Hollywood “that a girl-powered success is a fluke,”

Dramatic moment mini tsunami sweeps away boats, chairs and parasols on a beach in HOLLAND

THIS dramatic footage shows a rare MINI TSUNAMI hitting Holland washing away beach chairs, boats and parasols.

The freak weather phenomenon, called a “meteotsunami”, occurred near Amsterdam off the country’s north coast on Monday morning.

Meteosunamis are caused by rapid changes in atmospheric pressure that displace bodies of water and often signal an upcoming thunder storm.

Video shot from the balcony of a flat in the coastal resort of Zandvoort shows the huge wave sweeping away objects on the beach and flooding the area.

The man filming is heard saying “tsunami!” multiple times in disbelief.

China’s solar plane spend YEARS in the air + completely change the way countries spy on each other

Chinese state is with its new massive solar-powered drone. The plane called Caihong can stay airborne at “near space” levels for months if not years.

It is now one of the most advanced unmanned aircraft of its type.

During a top secret test flight in northwest China last week it reached a new high of 65,000ft in altitude.

Speaking to chinadaily.com,  Shi Wen, head of unmanned aircraft development at the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics, said usually a fuel powered military drone could fly a maximum of about 26,000 ft.

Ariana Grande’s gig for Manchester victims  to be world’s biggest – with more viewers than Live Aid

MANCHESTER’S One Love benefit gig could become the most-watched to date — with more viewers than Live Aid. So far, at least 43 countries are on board to broadcast it live, with America’s ABC signin…

…Networks in China, Australia, South America and across Asia will also air the gig live and in full, with many more in talks.

The event will also be streamed online, meaning the total number of viewers around the world could surpass the estimated one billion who saw 1985’s Live Aid concert.

And it will eclipse the 600million who saw Nelson Mandela’s 70th birthday tribute concert in 1988.
