A Melbourne shopping centre is in lockdown after armed men robbed a jewellery store in broad daylight.
Police were called to Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre in Mulgrave just before midday on Tuesday.
Four armed men, wielding hammers and an axe smashed their way through the front window of JK Collections before fleeing in a vehicle, The Age reports.
No-one was injured in the incident and police are investigating.
