Raging fire breaks out at rehab center in California

One dead and at least five injured in shooting

One person has died and at least six people have been injured in a shooting in Sanford, Florida Monday morning.

Police say that the shooting was ‘domestic’ in nature and that two children, a 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy, were among the injured.

The gunman, who’s name has not yet been released, has reportedly been taken into custody.

‘I can’t stress enough that this scene is one of the worst that our officers and investigators have ever responded to,’ Sanford spokeswoman Bianca Gillett said, according to Click Orlando. ‘It’s horrific.’

Largest ever recorded Dinosaur tracks found in ‘Australia’s Jurassic Park’ in the Kimberley

Palaeontologists have unearthed an unprecedented 21 different types of dinosaur tracks in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Australia’s own Jurassic Park has been discovered on a remote stretch of coastline with scientists unearthing an unprecedented 21 different types of dinosaur tracks.

Steve Salisbury, lead author of a paper on the findings, said it was the most diverse discovery of its kind in the world.

‘It is extremely significant, forming the primary record of non-avian dinosaurs in the western half of the continent and providing the only glimpse of Australia’s dinosaur fauna during the first half of the Early Cretaceous Period,’ he said.

Black hole to run at 8 million kilometres an hour? Something even scarier?

THIS monster has been booted out of its home. So what does it take to get a supermassive black hole to run at 8 million kilometres an hour? Something even scarier?

Black holes are the top-feeding predators of the universe.

Giant black holes dominate entire galaxies.

They live in their hearts. Their immense gravity keeps every star in its place.

So when Hubble spotted one on the run in a galaxy called 3C 186, something big — very big — must have happened.

You don’t simply push supermassive black holes about.

It’s liable to tear you apart.

But a research paper about to be published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics has a good idea why…

SPOILER

Negan came head-to-head with brave warrior Sasha on Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead with imprisoned Sasha’s life hanging in the balance.

Without means for escape Sasha’s survival seemed unlikely at the end of the episode.

The show opened with Rick [Andrew Lincoln] and his crew planning their epic attack on the nefarious Saviors and their leader Negan.

Steve Bannon Thought He Could Bully Republicans On Health Care. He Couldn’t.

“You have no choice but to vote for this bill,” he reportedly said to Republicans who knew they very much did have a choice.

In a report from Axios’ Mike Allen, sources said Bannon’s first words to the Republican members were that they would have “no choice” but to vote for the disastrous health care bill of President Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

“Guys, look,” Bannon reportedly said. “This is not a discussion. This is not a debate. You have no choice but to vote for this bill.”

Bannon apparently did not count on the fact that House Republicans knew they actually did have a choice in the matter.

“You know, the last time someone ordered me to something, I was 18 years old,” one of the members reportedly told Bannon. “And it was my daddy. And I didn’t listen to him, either.”

Foul play as ‘Line Of Duty’ turned into Dexter?

It was only the first week of the investigation but all the early evidence suggested that Line Of Duty had been tampered with.

The way its appearance had been altered was criminal and so blunt, bloody, and generally bonkers possibly the work of a madman. A preliminary review concluded the prime suspect behind it all as twisted genius/writer Jed Mercurio.

The fact that this version of BBC Two’s most popular, prestigious, asset had then been clumsily planted on BBC One carried the definite stench of corruption. This could only have been done with the complicity of a network of the organization’s most powerful figures.

The Anti-Death Penalty Turnbull Government Wants To Send Criminals Back To China

Human rights groups warn the repatriated criminals could be executed.

It wants to formally enter into an extradition treaty with China, Australia’s largest trading partner, ostensibly so crime can be “suppressed” when criminals are sent home.

They will send ours and we will send them theirs.

You can find the treaty here.

Now on the surface this may not be a big deal, and there have been moves between China and Canada and China and New Zealand to strike up similar treaties, but human rights groups want everyone reminded that we are talking about a nation that routinely applies the death penalty and uses torture and other ill treatment against criminals and suspects.

Need quick reminder? Australia flatly opposes the death penalty.

Michael Bloomberg tells Trump to ‘stop blaming’ and ‘start governing’

Michael Bloomberg has some harsh words for President Trump and the GOP after the failure to repeal Obamacare last week.

The former New York City mayor scolded Democrats for ‘gloating’ and Republicans for ‘sulking.’

In his op ed for Bloomberg on Sunday, the businessman criticized the blame passed around on both sides of the aisle.

Bloomberg didn’t hold back, saying: ‘After the bill collapsed on Friday afternoon, President Donald Trump accused the Democrats of obstruction, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer accused the president of incompetence, Speaker Paul Ryan said health care was done, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi bragged that it was a great day. No one had the courage to pick up the pieces and point the way forward.’

Brutal scenes as Moscow riot police clash with 8,000 protestors shouting ‘Russia without Putin’

Hundreds of Russians including Progress Party leader Alexei Navalny were arrested today as thousands defied bans to stage anti-corruption protests across the country.

Navalny called for the marches after publishing a detailed report this month accusing Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of controlling a property empire through a shadowy network of nonprofit organisations.

The report has been viewed over 11 million times on YouTube but so far Medvedev has made no comment on the claims.

Trump didn’t ‘care’ or ‘know’ about healthcare

As President Trump pointed fingers over the failed Obamacare repeal, Capitol Hill Republicans are also sussing out what went wrong with the president’s approach.

‘He didn’t care or particularly know about healthcare,’ one key GOP congressional aide told CNN. ‘If you are going to be a great negotiator, you have to know about the subject matter,’ the aide continued, suggesting that a major healthcare overhaul is a far different feat than the building of a golf course.

When members of the Freedom Caucus wanted to get into the wonky details about the bill, sources told CNN and Politico that Trump replied, ‘Forget about the little s***.’

PERTH Hunt for gunman who pulled a HANDGUN on a transport officer when he was asked why he didn’t have a ticket

A man is on the run in Perth after he allegedly pulled a gun out at a train station when he was issued a fine for not having a ticket by three guards.

Footage shows men and women hiding under train seats as a man is alleged to have pulled out a handgun on transit guards at Oats Street Station in Perth on Sunday.

The man that filmed the video claimed the gunman became aggressive when he was issued with a fine because he didn’t have a ticket and pulled out the handgun when he stepped off the train.
