Ferrari unveil latest stunner with the most powerful engine ever produced; CLIP

The famous Prancing Horse has announced its latest offering to the sports car market: The 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast.

Sporting a powerful 6.5-litre V12 engine, the car can reach 100 km/h in a scintillating 2.9 seconds and 200 km/h in just 7.9.

The whopping 800-horsepower engine is supported by a natural cooling system which fans air underneath and through the body of the vehicle.

Ferrari CEO Australasia Herbert Appleroth said the new car is the fastest and most powerful Ferrari ever.

“It’s a completely new engine, 75 per cent of the components are completely new,” he said.

It could reach a maximum speed of 340 km/h, with the ability to spin up to 8900 RPM.

“[The improved horsepower and RPM] makes this engine the most powerful engine ever produced in the world.”

Other improvements include electronic steering assistance, rear steering, and improved clutch transmission which can change gears up to 40 per cent more quickly.

If you’re looking at getting behind the wheel, you should probably start saving your pennies up… it’s expected to go from $610,000, plus on-road costs.
