Ayr United launch new strip with topless model covered in yellow and white body paint

WELL, you certainly can’t accuse Ayr United of putting on airs of graces over the launch of their new kit.

The Scottish team have once again gone for the direct approach in using a topless model to launch their away strip.

Last season sponsors Bodog, the online betting company, caused a stir when their model topless model ditched all her clothes to promote The Honest Men’s kit covered in just body paint.

And having got abreast of the idea, they’re at it again.

The Scottish Championship side obviously agree that advertising continuity is a must, while Bodog founder Calvin Ayre said tongue in cheek:

“After the controversy of last year’s kit launch we felt we should change our strategy.

“So this year we are using a body-painted model in the away strip rather than the home one.
