WILD footage has emerged of an alleged overnight brawl in Northbridge – with a member of the bike police breaking up the fight with a flying tackle.
The video, filmed around 1.15am from the balcony of the Brass Monkey, shows an alleged fight starting outside the venue on the corner of James and William Streets.
Police say they were called to the intersection and took one man into custody but have been unable to confirm whether the man was charged or issued with a move-on notice.
The video shows the alleged fight start between two men and then involve a third as it spills out into the middle of the intersection.
It’s then that a member of the WA Police’s bike patrol team steps in to dramatically break it up, executing a flying tackle on a shirtless man, who is subsequently led away by officers.
