G7 leaders blame Trump for failure to reach climate change agreement
In an unusual admission, Group of Seven (G7) leaders said in their final communique on Saturday that they had failed to bridge differences over climate change, with the United States unable to join other countries in committing to the Paris Agreement.

Old Vic theatre in central London evacuated
The Old Vic theatre in central London has been evacuated.
It’s not immediately clear what the reason is, and attendees, staff, and cast members have been led to the Imperial War Museum nearby.
Photos and videos posted on Twitter show a police cordon around the building and officers investigation.
One attendee told Business Insider there were “police, dogs and ambulances everywhere. Very weird and scary.”
The evacuation of the Waterloo venue comes at a period of heightened tensions in Britain, less than a week after a suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena killed 22 people and injured another 120.

BRITISH AIRWAYS cancels ALL London flights after IT outage
British Airways has cancelled all its flights from London’s two main airports after a global computer system outage caused massive delays and left planes stuck on runways.
BA said there was no evidence the problem had been caused by a cyber attack.
The airline said terminals at Heathrow and Gatwick had become extremely congested because of the IT failure and all BA flights scheduled before 1700 GMT (3am AEST) had been cancelled.
“Please do not come to the airports. We have experienced a major IT system failure that is causing very severe disruption to our flight operations worldwide,” the airline said in a statement.
“We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this is causing our customers and we are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

Even if Donald Trump hasn’t done a lot of public speaking during his big trip abroad, the body language of the president and those around him has spoken volumes.

Among those making comments on the account was her sister Mercedes, who is with her inside the home now and will accompany her on her final journey home.
Then 10 minutes before she was whisked off to the airport Schapelle posted this.
“Big thank you to my Bali family, neighbours and my brother inlaw Wayan. #realtime#abouttoleavwmyhomeof3years.”

Manchester Terror: Moss Side Evacuation as property searched
An evacuation in Moss Side is under way as part of a search linked to the Manchester terror attack.
Greater Manchester Police described the evacuation in the inner-city area as a “precautionary measure to ensure everyone’s safety”.
Several raids have been performed across Manchester in recent days – with officers performing a controlled explosion overnight at a property in Cheetham Hill. Two men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested.
A bus was also stormed to detain a 44-year-old man in Rusholme.
Eleven people are now being held in connection with bombing at Manchester Arena, which killed 22 people at the sold-out Ariana Grande concert on Monday night.
Police say they have tracked down a large part of the network linked to suicide bomber Salman Abedi – with “thousands of exhibits” now being examined by investigators.
“I think it is fair to say that there has been enormous progress with the investigation, but there is still an awful lot of work to do,” Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said.
The terrorism threat level remains at critical and armed officers have been seen patrolling public transport and beaches in some parts of the country.
They will also be on duty at hundreds of bank holiday events over the weekend, including the FA Cup final at Wembley and the Premiership Rugby final at Twickenham.

BREAKING: British Airways computer glitch causes HUGE delays at multiple airports
British Airways says it has fixed a computer problem that caused delays and long lines at numerous airports.
The company’s official Twitter account fielded a barrage of complaints from travelers at airports including Atlanta, Chicago and Boston late Monday. Others reported problems in the Bahamas and Mexico.
Customers in Europe faced delays early Tuesday. But the airline later said it had overcome the difficulties.
“We had a problem with our check-in systems which affected check in for some flights from the U.S., but this was not a worldwide issue and there were no cancellations,” BA said.
Travelers in the U.S. said British Airways representatives had told them a system failure had been going on for hours and was global.
“Apparently computers are taking the #LaborDay2016,” tweeted Alex Kintzer, posting a photo of a long line at San Francisco airport.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many flights were affected.
Some people shared images of hand-written boarding cards that BA staff had given them.

AN armoured police van has taken Schapelle Corby to the Parole Board, in a high-level operation that News Corp has obtained details on.

The van has arrived and she has gone inside.
Corby has begun her long-awaited journey to freedom, leaving her Kuta home amidst dramatic and chaotic scenes, bundled into a car.
Dozens of police and media and surrounded Corby as she was taken out the gate of her home in Kuta and shoved into a waiting black car with her sister Mercedes.
She had a scarf around her head, wore dark sunglasses and carried a handbag with a picture of William Tyrrell.

Local police have pushed crowds away as the Australian was whisked away from the Kuta property to the Parole Office in Denpasar.

Corby and her sister Mercedes will be leaving Bali on a Virgin flight to Brisbane late today.
Indonesian justice officials today confirmed Corby has been cleared for deportation with her sentence for drug smuggling completed today.

Floods, Mudslides Hit Sri Lanka; 100 Killed, 99 Missing
Floods and mudslides have killed at least 100 people and left 99 others missing in Sri Lanka’s south and western regions.
The Indian Ocean island’s authorities appealed for international help for rescue and relief operations as 800 homes were damaged and more than 2,900 people have been displaced due to the worst flooding in 14 years.
40 others have also been hospitalized after unusually heavy rain on Friday caused rivers to burst their banks and triggered a string of mudslides, according to the country’s Disaster Management Centre (DMC(.
The military used large armored vehicles and boats to transport people to safety. But some remained trapped in interior villages that boats have been unable to reach.
Authorities issued fresh evacuation orders for those living downstream of two major rivers, citing a risk of flooding even though the rains had subsided.
An Indian ship carrying medical supplies docked in Colombo on Saturday, after Sri Lanka issued an international appeal for help. Another ship is due to arrive on Monday.
The flooding is the worst since May 2003 when 250 people were killed and 10,000 homes destroyed after a similarly powerful Southwest monsoon, officials said.
The DMC said the monsoon ended a prolonged drought that had threatened agriculture as well as hydropower generation.
The rains have filled reservoirs used for hydroelectric projects after low supplies had raised fears of power shortages in June.
But officials said most reservoirs were now so full they were in danger of spilling over and flooding communities living downstream

At least 28 people have been killed and over 120 wounded in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, where rival factions vying for control in the fractured country clashed on Friday using tanks, armored vehicles and pickup trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns.
Heavy gunfire and artillery explosions rocked the districts of Abu Salim, Salahedeen and Qasr Bin Ghashir since early morning, when forces allied to the self-proclaimed National Salvation Government (GNC) tried to capture the territory controlled by the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA).
A third Tobruk-based government, aligned with military commander Khalifa Haftar, urged the people of Tripoli to “stand hand in hand with the GNA and its security apparatus to defeat the saboteurs.”
