A magistrate has warned one half of Perth’s so-called “dine-and-dash” couple she faces jail if she is convicted of any of the dozens of charges against her, describing her as a “prolific offender”.
Lois Clover Loder was arrested in April after a restaurant in Henley Brook posted allegations on social media that she and a male companion dined and then left without paying the bill.
Ms Loder was also charged with not paying for fuel at a Glendalough service station and using false credit card details to buy alcohol and book a hotel room.
Today she appeared again in the Perth Magistrates Court where it was revealed she is also facing charges of PayPass fraud.
Her lawyer suggested that if Ms Loder was convicted of those charges, she was likely to receive fines because they involved amounts under $100.
