Bureau of Meteorology issues severe storm warning for southern WA coast

Screenshot from 2018-06-04 16-44-05.pngTHE first storm to hit Western Australia this winter is set to bring destructive winds and isolated flooding to the southern half of the state.

A severe weather warning has been issued for coastal areas between Windy Harbour and Kalbarri, including the Perth metropolitan, with residents warned to prepare for damaging wind gusts up to 100km/h late on Monday night and heavy rains developing on Tuesday.
