Perth’s Ashdale high school evacuated

YEAR 12 students about to sit an exam have been relocated after a high school in Perth’s north was evacuated.

Police were called to investigate the incident at the Ashdale Secondary College in Darch, in Perth’s northern suburbs, at about 9am.

The Department of Education has advised that a Year 12 English exam will go ahead and has been relocated to a nearby school.

Students have been told to stay at home if possible or alternatively, they will be supervised at Ashdale Primary School.
