North Korea claims US jet fighters ‘simulated surprise attacks’

NORTH Korea has claimed two US bombers have flown ‘surprise strike’ drills in an effort to ‘threaten and blackmail’ Kim Jong-un’s regime.

The official KCNA news agency complained the exercise was ‘simulating attacks’ on important targets inside the country.

“The frenzied US scheme of threats and blackmail, which aims to crush our republic with nuclear (weapons) continues in November as it did in October,” KCNA said overnight.

“The US may make frantic last-minute efforts to block our powerful advances by shoving nuclear strategic assets at us, but our army and people are not ones to be startled.”
