Goalkeeper dies after colliding with teammate in Indonesian Super League match

Goalkeeper and club legend Choirul Huda dies following a heavy collision with a teammate during an Indonesian Super League match.

Choirul Huda, 38, was a legend at East Javan club Persela, making his debut in 1999 and was lauded by fans as a one-club hero.

Huda had come racing out of his area to smother a loose ball, only for teammate Ramon Rodrigues to collide with him in the process…
