Perth man caught up in airport shooting in South Africa

THE son of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Mayor and former State MP John Bowler has been caught up in a shooting in South Africa.

Joseph Bowler hit the record button on his mobile phone and hit the ground as gunfire ran out at Cape Town Airport.

Mr Bowler was flying out of South Africa to his job in Mozambique.
