Sheriff Says 3 Killed in Shooting at Wisconsin Auto Race

Three men were shot dead at point-blank range. No suspects have been arrested

(UNION GROVE, Wis.) — A Wisconsin sheriff says three men were shot and killed during an auto racing event.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth says authorities responded to the Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove around 7 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports about shots being fired.

Beth says the three men were shot by another man at point-blank range near a food vendor. No suspects have been arrested.

Two men died at the scene, and the third died while en route to a hospital. The sheriff says at least two of the men were from Aurora, Illinois.

The sheriff’s office estimated that more than 5,000 people were at the raceway for an event known as “Larry’s Fun Fest.”

Union Grove is about 25 miles (40.23 kilometers) south of Milwaukee.

The post office that could topple Turnbull

“Price reduced for quick sale”. The suburban post office that has sparked a High Court challenge against a federal minister and threatens to topple the Turnbull government is on the market.

Assistant Health Minister David Gillespie’s political future is on the line – and so is the government’s one-seat majority – after Labor launched a constitutional challenge against his eligibility last week.

The opposition believes he may have an indirect financial interest in the Commonwealth – grounds for disqualification from office under section 44 of the constitution – because he leases a commercial space to an Australia Post licensee at Lighthouse Beach, near the NSW coastal city of Port Macquarie.

If the High Court finds he was invalidly elected it will spark a by-election in the National MP’s seat of Lyne and cause a massive political headache for Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

If Dr Gillespie’s election is ruled invalid, it is believed he may be able to stand again in a by-election and re-win the seat – but not if he retains the offending interest…

Indon prison escape: 200 still at large.

The prison break on Friday occurred when prisoners were let out of their cells at Sialang Bungkuk Prison in Pekanbaru, the capital of Riau province, to perform prayers.

Local police chief Susanto, who goes by one name, said 242 men were recaptured by Sunday morning leaving about 200 still at large.

Police said some of the men surrendered or were returned by their families while others were captured by residents, police and soldiers.

Woman sexually assaulted in Secret Harbour alleyway

POLICE are searching for two men who indecently assaulted a woman in an alleyway in Secret Harbour.

The 30-year-old woman was forced to the ground by two men just after 6.10pm on Thursday in an alleyway leading between Carmague Green and Sicily Green near La Palma Square.

Police said the men indecently assaulted her in the bushes alongside the alleyway before running off when they heard someone approaching.

Sex Assault Squad detectives are calling on the public to assist with their investigation into the attack.

One man is described as being in his thirties, fair skinned, about 190cms tall with a slim build, scruffy blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a blue pattern.

The second man is described as being in his thirties, dark skinned, approximately 165cms tall with a solid build, dark brown curly shoulder length hair and some facial hair.

He was wearing a black coloured t-shirt, knee length denim shorts and black thong type shoes with a Velcro strap.
