JULIA Louis-Dreyfus has shared an incredibly awkward/hilarious story about a gift she received from Hillary Clinton.

The actress told The Late Late Show host, James Corden, that she worked with someone on her TV show Veep that also did makeup for the politician.

Her friend asked the then Secretary of State to write a note to Louis-Dreyfus as a gift and she obliged.

“It said, ‘Dear Julia, I hope you get job reform and education reform … as Veep. Best wishes, Hillary Rodham Clinton’,” Louis-Dreyfus said about the note.

“So of course I was thrilled to get this and I had it framed in my house.”

But Louis-Dreyfus’ attitude towards the gift changed slightly in 2016 when WikiLeaks published more than 30,000 emails sent to and from Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

One of the released emails revealed that the politician actually had very little idea about who Julia Louis-Dreyfus actually was.

“Somebody tweeted to me an email that Hillary Clinton sent to a staffer that said, ‘a friend of mine needs me to write something for Julie Dryfus (sic). Any idea what to say? She’s on some show’,” the actress told Corden.

“And so he writes back, ‘it’s called Veep. I will admit I have not seen it …’”

The actress, who played Elaine on Seinfeld, told the talk show host that she now has the email exchange printed and on display next to the original note from Hillary Clinton.

One by one, they took turns to make snide remarks to camera about their most hated rival’s seedy Achilles’ heel. Then came the convenient opportunity: Matty’s sister grilling each girl about the authenticity of their search for love.

They’d better be there for the right reasons! But wait, perhaps Leah is there for the wrong reasons, because — whisper it — she has a past…

The city’s relationship with high-rises goes back to 1980, when China’s reformist leader, Deng Xiaoping, declared that a swath of farmland along the Hong Kong border would become a so-called Special Economic Zone.

The decision meant that companies could operate with fewer of the restrictions of a planned economy — China’s first major experiment with free markets since the Communist revolution of 1949. Investors from Hong Kong — and beyond — rushed across the border to build factories and other businesses.

CITY dwellers enjoying Perth’s run of glorious sunny winter days have been urged to spare a thought for WA farmers in desperate need of rain.

While the weekend sunshine lured crowds to Perth’s beaches and playgrounds, WA’s long dry spell is causing havoc for grain growers.

Weather Bureau duty forecaster Ricus Lombard said Perth was on track for its warmest June on record after averaging 23C for the first two weeks of winter.

The city has received just 26mm of rain this month, well below the June average of 172mm…
