FBI raids former Trump campaign manager Manafort’s home

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – FBI agents seized documents and other materials from the suburban Virginia home of Paul Manafort, U.S. President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, during a predawn raid as part of a special counsel’s investigation into possible Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

The raid, authorized by a search warrant, was conducted without advance warning on July 26, a day after Manafort met with staff members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, the Post said, citing unidentified people familiar with the probe.

Trump says his White House is doing a ‘C-plus job communicating his A-level accomplishments’

Donald Trump thinks he deserves an A-plus for effort so far as president – but says he’s doing C-level work communicating his accomplishments so far.

Trump said in an interview broadcast Tuesday on ‘Fox & Friends’ that ‘in terms of effort, which means something but I give myself an A-plus.

‘In terms of messaging, I would give myself a C or a C plus.’

The president said specifically that his White House could have done a better job communicating with the American people about his plan to deport criminal illegal immigrants.

It wasn’t ‘communicated effectively,’ Trump admitted.
