Multiple injuries in high-speed train incident outside Philadelphia

Multiple people are injured after an incident involving two high-speed trains outside Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), spokeswoman Heather Redfern tells CNN.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. ET at the 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, PA, according to Redfern. Two of SEPTA’s Norristown high-speed trains were involved. The extent and severity of the injuries is unknown at this time, and the accident is currently under investigation, Redfern says.

The Norristown High Speed Line runs between the 69th Street Terminal and Norristown.

Indigenous artist Peter Mungkuri wins Hadley’s Art Prize, world’s richest landscape prize

An Indigenous artist has won what is believed to be the world’s richest landscape art prize for a drawing of his remote South Australian birthplace.

Peter Mungkuri has won the $100,000 inaugural Hadley’s Art Prize for his depiction of the Aboriginal community of Fregon (Kaltjiti).

Mungkuri said his piece, titled Ngura Wiru or Good Country, told a personal story.

“This is my story about that creek at Fregon,” he said. “I was born there.”

“Back then we lived in the bush, slept in the warm sand and we lived on the bush tucker.

“That place is where it all started, that was my home.

“I love this country, it has watched us Anangu (people) for many years. It is a wise country.”

Mungkuri’s ink on Somerset-paper drawing was chosen by a judging panel of three national art specialists, Lisa Slade, Rodger Butler and Julie Gough.

Bianca Dye reveals what the CandyMan’s parties are like

If there’s one thing Australian millionaire Travers Beynon, aka The Candyman, has mastered, it’s how to host a memorable party.

Each year, the Gold Coast based tobacco tycoon hosts his infamous parties – some costing upwards of $400,000 and all featuring hundreds of bikini clad women, an endless supply of food and alcohol and eye-popping entertainment.

In December, radio host Bianca Dye was asked to MC his Seven Deadly Sins themed bash held at his famed Candyshop Mansion in Helensvale, Queensland.

And now, she has opened up about the experience and revealed exactly how the night played out from the moment she walked through the gates.

Speaking to Yahoo Be, Ms Dye, who is a personal friend of Mr Beynon, described the night as ‘entering another universe’ and was greeted at 12pm by ‘incredible girls’ – some inside life-size champagne glasses and others bare-breasted or donning bikinis and roller skates.

The radio host, who was one of 1,000 ‘specially picked’ guests at the December bash, said there were also ‘150 working behind the scenes’ as well as the host’s personal entourage of ‘stunning, sexy, slim and confident women’.

Among the crystal embellished costumes, contortionists and exceptional decor, Ms Dye said there were also a selection of food trucks along the driveway with ‘every kind of festival food you could think of’…
