#Perth set to hit 28C by Friday. Warm Weather on the way

Spring is finally here with some much-missed sunshine on the way. While the sun certainly had its hat on in Perth on Monday with blue skies and temperatures reaching nearly 18 degrees… it’s about to get a whole lot warmer.

As it stands the Bureau of Meteorology has forecast highs of 26 degrees for Thursday, while Friday is tipped to hit 28 degrees. If it does inch towards the 30-degree mark it will be the hottest day in Perth since May 7 and represent a much warmer start to spring compare to last year.In September 2016, only four days registered above 20 degrees.

And with the highest temperature for the whole of that month just 23.1 degrees, we’re on course to surpass that three times in one week – with Wednesday tipped to be 24 degrees. It has some way to go to match the record maximum temperature for a September day in Perth, which was 34.5 degrees in 2014.
