Flights from Sydney Airport cancelled due to high winds, passengers may wait for days

Up to 100 flights in and out of Sydney Airport are cancelled and dozens more are delayed as wind gusts hit the runways.

  • International flights are running as normal from Kingsford Smith
  • The windy conditions will last until the airport’s 11pm curfew, and could continue tomorrow
  • Qantas, Virgin, Tiger, Jetstar and REX are attempting to reschedule domestic services

The airport and airlines have not stated how long it will take to clear the backlog, but passengers at the airport told the ABC that airlines
