Sydney Airport flight chaos continues as strong winds force more cancellations

Strong winds force Sydney’s Domestic Airport to move operations to a single runway for a second day, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.

“It’s a combination of strong wind and also a crosswind,” ASA spokeswoman Sarah Fulton said.

“So it’s going across the runway, which means we do have to use the smaller runway rather than both the two larger parallels.”
